"My name is Singleton Kastamangas. That's Macedonian for 'Man of few words.' My story requires many words, but the problem is: I don't have much time. You see, I just went over the railing of the Ambassador Bridge."
And so begins my play, Negatunity.
The story follows one day in the life of technical writer, Singleton Kastamangas, who recently made an earth-shattering discovery in his life. The reverberations from this discovery are still being felt, setting the events of the play in motion.
When we first meet Singleton, we find him attempting to do what he always does: following routine, going to work, fulfilling his responsibilities. Soon, though, the reverberations of this discovery send him into a speed-wobble guided by memory and trauma.
